CSV Processing
If you ever had to deal with CSV files, in particular those coming out of Microsoft Excel then you’ll appreciate the CSVManager java lib from ricebridge.com. Its a commercial product (though very cheap in relation to what you’ll be getting), and it just flies through any CSV really fast and without errors. It knows all the Excel quirks and is very configurable. I can’t fault it in a any way – its just that good!

Richard of ricebridge also has a pretty good/funny blog.

Glad to hear it’s going well!
I’m playing around with FreeCRM at the moment and it looks very good – guess I’ll have to blog about it now

There’s also a nice set of utilities from Stephen Ostermiller http://ostermiller.org/utils/CSV.html. They are free and open source!
